About the Role
Join the Adult Community Mental Health Team and play a key role in delivering specialist mental health support to consumers and their families. This position provides the opportunity to undertake comprehensive assessments, deliver evidence-based interventions, and coordinate recovery-focused care within a multidisciplinary environment.
Working closely with consumers, carers, internal teams and external agencies, you will help achieve positive outcomes through collaborative, person-centred practice while also providing clinical leadership and support to colleagues.
Key Responsibilities
- Deliver mental health assessments, treatment and care plans
- Conduct risk assessments and support risk management
- Coordinate care across community, inpatient and external services
- Provide clinical leadership, mentoring and supervision
- Complete clinical reports, documentation and tribunal requirements
- Participate in rostered duty functions, triage and urgent assessments
Skills & Experience
- Relevant qualification in Nursing
- Current AHPRA registration
- Experience delivering recovery-oriented mental health care
- Knowledge of the Mental Health Act, trauma-informed practice and risk assessment
- Strong communication and collaboration across multidisciplinary teams

This position is paid in accordance with the Victorian Public Mental Health Services Enterprise Agreement. The classification is Registered Psychiatric Nurse Grade 4 (NP75 - NP77) which ranges from $63.21 - $68.07 per hour.
