The Role:
We’re on the lookout for a motivated Operator to join our operations team. This is a hands-on role that involves working across our composting facility, assisting at the quarry sand wash plant, and helping with various off-site projects as needed.

This is a permanent full-time position based at our Mugga Lane Site.

Key Responsibilities:
- Operate and maintain a range of equipment including excavators, loaders, chippers, and grinders
- Drive HR/MR trucks for onsite and local product movements
- Support green waste composting operations – turning, screening, and processing
- Assist with quarry sand wash plant operations, including stockpiling, loading, and general site upkeep
- Perform daily equipment checks and follow all safety procedures
- Work flexible hours and travel occasionally for short-term off-site jobs
What you’ll bring
Essential:
- Current Australian Driver’s Licence
- Valid Excavator and Loader tickets
- A strong commitment to workplace health and safety
- Reliability and a positive, can-do attitude
- Ability to work effectively as part of a team
- Confidence working outdoors and around heavy machinery
Highly regarded:
- Current HR or MR licence
- Experience operating chippers, grinders or sand wash plants
- Previous experience in composting, quarrying, recycling, civil construction or a similar industry
- Mechanical aptitude and an interest in basic equipment maintenance
