About the Role
In this role, you will be responsible for maintaining and repairing our fleet of cranes, trucks, and trailers, ensuring all equipment is safe, compliant, and job-ready.
Your key responsibilities will include:
- Diagnosing and repairing faults across all mechanical components
- Performing crane maintenance, from minor servicing to major repairs
- Repairing and replacing components such as brakes, suspension, and steering systems
- Diagnosing and repairing electrical faults
- Using specialised diagnostic tools and equipment to resolve complex issues
- Reading and interpreting technical manuals and schematics
- Collaborating with other mechanics and technicians to solve complex problems
- Maintaining accurate service and repair records
- Ensuring compliance with safety and environmental regulations
- Providing maintenance advice and technical guidance
- Working to the highest standards across all equipment and vehicles
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
- Relevant trade qualifications as a Heavy Diesel Mechanic
- Strong technical understanding of cranes, heavy vehicles, and trailers
- The ability to think outside the square and solve problems effectively
