About the Opportunity
We are seeking experienced female Disability Support Workers with a background in supporting people with mental health conditions and behaviours of concern. This role reports to an Area Manager who will support and train you to deliver exceptional, person-centred care.

About the Role
- Providing in-home support with daily tasks such as meal preparation, personal care and medication administration.
- Assisting with domestic duties around the home.
- Supporting clients to engage with their community and participate in meaningful activities.
- Enabling clients to work towards and achieve their personal goals.
About You
- Minimum two years' experience in the disability sector.
- Experience across a range of disabilities, including mental health and autism.
- Confidence supporting clients with behaviours of concern, using positive behaviour support and de-escalation techniques.
- Certificate III in Disability (or similar or higher).
- Strong communication skills.
- Genuine empathy for the issues facing people with disability.
- A strong belief in the principles of person-centred practice.
- Highly organised, proactive and able to work well under pressure.
- Valid NDIS Worker Screening Check.
- NSW Driver's Licence (or similar) and own car preferred.
