About The Role
We’re looking for a Field Assistant to join MEC for a 3-month opportunity, working directly alongside one of our clients on-site.
While you will be working directly with our client’s site team day-to-day, you will be employed by MEC and have a connection back to our team throughout the assignment. It’s a great opportunity for someone looking to build their field experience, gain exposure to drilling and core shed activities, and work alongside experienced industry professionals.
About You
We are looking for someone who is practical, reliable and keen to get stuck in.
- Previous Field Assistant, drilling or core shed experience
- Experience in mining, exploration or a similar workplace
- Ability to work FIFO from Queensland
- A strong commitment to safety
- Ability to work well as part of a small team in remote locations
- A positive attitude and willingness to learn
