Drive Business Systems Excellence Across a Purpose-Led Organisation Our client in the Education sector is seeking an experienced Senior Business Systems Lead to take ownership of a diverse portfolio of enterprise applications and help shape the future of business systems, reporting and operational efficiency.

Reporting to a highly collaborative and supportive Head of Technology, this role offers the opportunity to influence system strategy, optimise critical platforms, and partner with stakeholders across the organisation to deliver meaningful business outcomes. This is a position where you'll be given the autonomy and flexibility to truly own the function while having solid leadership support when needed.

About the Role

This is not a deeply technical infrastructure or development position.
Instead, we're looking for someone who understands how large business system environments operate, can work closely with stakeholders, and has strong business analysis and documentation capabilities.
You will act as the bridge between technology and the business, ensuring systems, processes and data support operational success while driving continuous improvement initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

- Own and oversee the organisation's core business systems portfolio.
- Work closely with business stakeholders who are responsible for day-to-day system ownership.
- Gather and document business requirements and process improvements.
- Facilitate workshops, discovery sessions and stakeholder engagement activities.




- Develop high-quality documentation including process maps, requirements documents and business cases.
- Drive system optimisation, governance and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Manage vendor relationships and coordinate enhancement activities.
- Improve data quality, reporting capabilities and business insights.
- Support project delivery, testing, training and change initiatives.

You'll bring:

- Experience managing or supporting enterprise business applications.
- Strong Business Analysis skills including requirements gathering, process mapping and documentation.
- Experience working with HR, payroll, workforce management, ERP, CRM or similar business platforms.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- The ability to understand complex system landscapes and business processes.
- Exposure to reporting, analytics and Power BI environments would be advantageous.
- A collaborative, pragmatic and solutions-focused mindset.
