We are working with a global leader in packaging and processing solutions. They are seeking a skilled Field Service Technician to support food industry customers across NSW and Australia.

About the Role
Working as part of the service department this person will ensuring that customers are fully supported during installation, commissioning, servicing and ongoing maintenance of machinery as well as providing training of operators, production and maintenance staff.

Main Duties

- Service, maintain and rebuild food and packaging equipment
- Diagnose and rectify electrical, mechanical and pneumatic faults
- Install, commission and test equipment
- Provide operator training and customer support
- Promote preventative maintenance programs
- Travel throughout NSW and interstate as required
- Complete all required safety documentation (e.g., SWMS) and comply with local safety guidelines, ensuring risks are identified and controlled at customer sites and company offices
- Attend machine-specific training courses as directed to maintain technical expertise.

Skills and Experience

- A-Class Electrical Licence OR trade-qualified Fitter/Mechanic with Restricted Electrical Licence




- Min 3 Years experience in the service and maintenance industry – food/bakery equipment is desirable
- Ability to read electrical and pneumatic drawings
- Excellent customer service and communication skills
- Current Driver Licence
- Strong commitment to safety and quality
- A robust work ethic and excellent communication skill
- Willingness to work at least one weekend each month, travel at short notice and work flexible hours as require
