NQ Auto Group, the home of Nissan, Suzuki and Renault in Townsville, is looking for a New Vehicle Sales Trainee to join our team.
This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with the right attitude and personality to start a career in automotive sales.
No previous car sales experience is required. We’re looking for someone who is confident, motivated, great with people and ready to learn.
You'll receive hands-on training from an experienced dealership team while learning to sell three well-known automotive brands across a diverse range of passenger vehicles, SUVs, 4WDs and commercial vehicles.
What You'll Be Doing
As a Sales Trainee, you'll learn the complete new vehicle sales process, including:
- Meeting customers and understanding their vehicle needs
- Developing strong product knowledge across Nissan, Suzuki and Renault
- Conducting vehicle demonstrations and test drives
- Responding to showroom, phone and online enquiries
- Following up prospective customers and building relationships
- Learning professional sales and negotiation techniques
- Working towards individual and dealership sales targets
- Assisting with showroom and vehicle presentation
- Creating a great customer experience from the first enquiry through to vehicle handover
Our goal is to give you the skills, product knowledge and experience to progress into a successful New Vehicle Sales Consultant.
Who Are We Looking For?
Experience in the motor industry isn't necessary.
You may currently be working in retail, hospitality, telecommunications,
customer service, real estate or another sales environment and looking for an opportunity where your personality and work ethic can take you further.
You'll be a great fit if you:
- Enjoy meeting and talking with people
- Have a positive and energetic attitude
- Are motivated by achieving goals and earning rewards for performance
- Have excellent customer service skills
- Are willing to learn and take on coaching
- Present professionally
- Are organised, reliable and self-motivated
- Are comfortable with computers and technology
- Hold a current Australian driver's licence
- Are available to work Saturday mornings
