Maintenance Electrician

We are currently seeking a motivated and skilled Maintenance Electrician to provide high-quality engineering and maintenance support across state-of-the-art production and administrative facilities.

This critical role ensures the protected, reliable, and efficient operation of all plant equipment, automation systems, and infrastructure, while also contributing to exciting continuous improvement and site capital projects.

Key Responsibilities

- Plant Maintenance: Perform breakdown, preventative, and predictive maintenance on manufacturing equipment, panels, and facility infrastructure to ensure high reliability.

- Advanced Diagnostics: Provide high-level technical expertise in troubleshooting electrical, automation, and control systems-including PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, drives, and instrumentation circuits.

- Project Delivery: Support engineering and continuous improvement projects, assisting with the installation, design, modification,



and commissioning of new equipment.

- Contractor Management: Supervise and coordinate external contractors, ensuring all work complies with site standards, environmental regulations, and safety rules.

- Compliance & Data: Ensure all works comply with Australian Standards and complete all maintenance reporting, utilizing operational data to drive efficiency and reduce downtime.

What We Are Looking For

- Trade Qualifications: Unrestricted Australian Electrical Licence.

- Industrial Experience: Minimum 3 years of commercial or industrial electrical maintenance experience (background in chemical, process, or heavy manufacturing environments is highly regarded).

- Automation & Controls: Strong working knowledge of PLCs, VFDs, HMIs, and control systems.

- Specialized Knowledge: Prior experience working with electrical equipment in Hazardous Areas is strongly preferred.

- Licences & Tickets: Certification for Working at Heights is required.

- Key Attributes: Excellent fault-finding skills, high safety standards, strong communication, and a proactive approach to continuous improvement.
