We are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter with high speed automated maintenance experience in the food or food packaging manufacturing industry.
To be successful in this position, it essential that you:
- Current Drivers Licence
- Relevant trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter or equivalent.
- Proven experience in industrial mechanical fitting and maintenance.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical systems, hydraulics, pneumatics, and machining techniques.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and the ability to work well under pressure.
- Excellent attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work.
- Have a good understanding of GMP and HACCP Food safety
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work collaboratively within a team.
- A solid understanding of workplace safety practices and regulations.
- Flexibility to work shifts, overtime, and participate in on-call rotations as required.
- Relevant licenses and certifications (e.g., current disconnect/reconnect licence, working at heights) will be advantageous.
