- Developing and delivering individualised intervention plans
- Supporting clients with participation, sensory processing, emotional regulation, motor development, play and functional skills
- Applying developmental and relationship-based approaches, including DIR/Floortime
- Consulting with parents, caregivers, schools and other professionals
- Preparing clinical reports and maintaining appropriate documentation
- Participating in multidisciplinary case discussions
- Managing an agreed clinical caseload
Essential Criteria
Applicants must:
- Hold a recognised qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Hold current general registration as an Occupational Therapist with AHPRA
- Have at least five years of relevant clinical experience
- Have substantial experience providing occupational therapy services to children and adolescents
- Demonstrate experience applying DIR/Floortime or other evidence-based practice interventions in paediatric practice
- Demonstrate competence in paediatric assessment, intervention planning and clinical report writing
- Be eligible to obtain relevant Medicare and private health provider numbers
- Hold, or be able to obtain, a current Working With Children Check and National Police Clearance
