The Chance
We are currently seeking skilled Gyprockers to join our expanding team. These are full-time FIFO roles from Perth, operating on a 14:7 roster.
Responsibilities:
Accurately measuring and cutting plasterboard
Positioning and securing the panels to the walls and ceiling.
Prepare and secure corner beads.
Secure panel mouldings, cornices ceiling centres and other kinds of plaster fittings.
Pasting coats of plaster,
render and cement using trowels
Levelling and smoothing plaster layers
Covering and smoothing over nail holes and joins, using plaster, sealing compounds and sandpaper
Applying finishing coats and adding decorative effects if required.
Applying fireproofing, acoustic, and insulating materials bonded with plaster.
Must haves:
Proven experience in gyprocking / plasterboard installation
Relevant trade background or equivalent on-the-job experience
White Card (Construction Induction)
C Class Unrestricted Driver’s Licence
Working at Heights certification (preferred)
RTIO Induction (preferred)
High attention to detail and robust safety mindset
Respect for Indigenous culture and values
