Oh Happy Day Cafe is looking for an experienced barista to join our team at our Point Cook cafe.

This is a hands-on barista position for someone who is confident working in a busy cafe workplace, understands what outstanding coffee and service look like, and can stay calm and organised when the cafe gets busy.

A minimum of 2 years' barista experience is essential.

This is an experienced hospitality position and is not suitable for applicants looking for their first cafe or hospitality job.

Your Role
Prepare high-quality coffee consistently and efficiently.
Work confidently on the coffee machine during busy service.
Maintain a clean, organised and well-stocked coffee station.
Communicate effectively with FOH and kitchen during service.
Help keep the cafe running smoothly during busy periods.
Provide friendly and professional customer service.
Follow OHD coffee, service and presentation standards.

What We're Looking For
Minimum 2 years' barista experience – essential.




Strong experience working in a busy cafe environment.
Able to maintain coffee quality and consistency during busy service.
Strong communication and teamwork skills.
Reliable, organised and able to take initiative.
Calm and skilled under pressure.
High attention to detail and pride in your work.
Must be available to work weekends.

We're looking for someone who already has solid barista experience, takes ownership of their role and understands how to contribute to a busy cafe team.
