Sydney School of Sound is a music school that offers tuition for individuals and schools in NSW. Due to increasing demand from parents within schools, we are looking for Guitar (Acoustic/Classical/Electric/Bass), Piano, Drum and Vocal Tutors.

Job type: Contract

Hours of Work: Teaching load determined by student enrolments and tutor availability

Key responsibilities:
Tutoring weekly one-to-one or semi-private guitar/piano/drum/vocal lessons to students from Primary to High School (K-12)
Conducting ensembles/bands/choir (depending on your instrument)
Before- and after-school teaching available, depending on student and tutor availability. Potential for tutoring during school hours
Tutoring mixed-ability students. We strive to provide students of all learning needs with a creative and fun musical experience

Requirements:
Hold or be currently completing a relevant bachelor's degree (e.g. B/Music or Education), OR demonstrate equivalent qualified experience/qualifications (e.g. AMEB, Trinity, or industry performance experience)
Ability to read and write music notation
Ability and willingness to teach students of all ages

To be eligible for this role, you must:
Have a Working with Children’s Check (WWCC)
Have an ABN
Have a right to work in Australia
