Milestone IT is partnering with a large and well-established retail organisation to recruit an experienced Test Lead for an initial 6-month contract.

This is an exciting opportunity for a hands-on Test Lead to take ownership of integration and end-to-end testing across multiple systems and delivery streams. You will play a key role in planning and coordinating SIT and E2E testing, managing defects, and ensuring explicit reporting and communication across business, technology and vendor teams.

About the Role

As the Test Lead, you will be responsible for:
Leading SIT and E2E testing across multiple systems and integrated platforms.
Developing and managing test strategies, plans, schedules and execution activities.
Coordinating testing across multiple delivery streams, systems and project dependencies.
Managing the end-to-end defect lifecycle, including triage, prioritisation, resolution and reporting.
Providing clear and regular testing status reports, risks, issues and progress updates.
Working closely with project teams, technology teams, business stakeholders and external vendors.
Identifying testing dependencies, risks and potential impacts across interconnected systems.
Supporting a structured and team-oriented approach to test delivery within a complex retail environment.





About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:
Strong experience in integration and end-to-end testing across multiple systems.
Previous retail industry experience – this is essential.
Proven experience leading SIT and E2E test planning and execution.
Strong experience in defect management, triage and test reporting.
Excellent stakeholder management and communication skills.
Proven experience managing and coordinating vendors and third-party delivery partners.
The ability to work effectively across multiple delivery streams, projects and dependencies.
A proactive approach with the ability to identify risks and drive testing outcomes.
