We are currently seeking a qualified, reliable, and motivated Light Vehicle Automotive Tradesman to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
Perform routine logbook servicing, maintenance, and safety inspections on a wide variety of light vehicles.
Diagnose mechanical, electrical, and electronic faults using modern diagnostic equipment.
Execute mechanical repairs including brakes, suspension, steering, engines, transmissions, and cooling systems.
Conduct road tests to verify diagnosis and ensure work quality post-repair.
Maintain accurate repair notes, time tracking, and workshop records.
Keep work areas clean, orderly, and compliant with WHS regulations.
Assist and mentor apprentices when required.

Qualifications & Requirements
Trade Qualification: Certificate III in Light Vehicle Mechanical Technology (or equivalent recognised trade qualification).
Driver’s Licence: Current,



valid Australian manual Driver’s Licence.
Experience: Demonstrated experience as a light vehicle mechanic in a busy workshop environment.
Technical Skills: Strong fault-finding/diagnostic ability and proficiency with contemporary scan tools.
Work Ethic: High attention to detail, solid problem-solving skills, and a pride in your work.
Communication: Clear verbal and written communication skills to interact with service advisors and team members.

Pay: $56,081.75 – $80,000.00 per hour
