Nippy's is seeking a hands-on and organised Transport Supervisor to join our Waikerie citrus packing operation. Working closely with growers, contractors, drivers and operational teams, you will play a key role in ensuring fruit, freight and materials are transported safely and efficiently to support our packing and juice operations.

About the Role

Reporting to the Manager of Grower Services and Horticulture, you will coordinate the day-to-day transport requirements of the operation, supervise transport personnel and support the efficient movement of fruit, freight and materials across the business.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinate local fruit collections and transport activities to support daily packing operations
Liaise with growers, harvest contractors, drivers and operational teams regarding transport requirements
Coordinate freight movements between sites and external suppliers
Supervise and support truck drivers and forklift operators in their day-to-day activities




Load and unload trucks and operate trucks and forklifts when required
Coordinate raw material supply and waste removal requirements
Schedule servicing and maintenance for trucks, forklifts and transport equipment
Maintain accurate transport documentation and operational records
Support a secure workplace culture and comply with WHS requirements

About You

You are a practical and reliable team player who enjoys working in a fast-paced operational workplace. You can juggle competing priorities, communicate effectively with a range of stakeholders and take pride in delivering quality outcomes. This role would suit someone with experience in transport, logistics, horticulture or a similar operational environment.

You will also have:
HC Heavy Vehicle Licence or higher
Forklift Licence
Experience in transport, logistics or a similar operational workplace
Previous experience leading, coordinating or supporting a small team
Strong communication and organisational skills
A commitment to safety and quality outcomes
Experience within the citrus industry highly regarded
Be available on weekends during the peak period
