Orange Evangelical Church (OEC) is looking for a godly, servant-hearted woman to join our ministry team, co-lead our Grow focus area, and help train and disciple women in Orange and beyond. We long to see women of all ages equipped, supported, and growing as courageous disciple-makers and leaders in our church community. The recent worker will join an active ministry team serving multiple congregations, working alongside a church full of people who want to see women thrive as disciples of Jesus.
We’re looking for someone who:
Is a growing Christian of godly character who deeply loves God, his Word and his people.
Prayerfully and faithfully sits under God's Word, and is able to teach it to others
Builds teams and trains up leaders
Is driven, organised and has initiative
Works well with others
Has theological training (or a willingness to undertake training) from a reformed theological college.
What does the role involve?
Co-leading the Grow focus area across OEC’s five congregations
Leading OEC’s Women’s Ministry Team
Planning and shaping ministries that help women connect, grow, and serve
Equipping women to teach the Bible, lead others, and share their faith
Training and mentoring female ministry apprentices, to help them take their next steps in gospel ministry
Partnering with a supportive, gospel-driven staff team to see women joyfully follow Jesus.
This role is part time (0.6 FTE) with the potential to increase as ministry opportunities develop.
