We are looking for a reliable and motivated Inwards Goods Storeman to join our warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for receiving and checking incoming goods, safely handling stock and pallets, and ensuring products are accurately stored and recorded. This is a hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys working in a busy warehouse manufacturing environment and takes pride in accuracy, safety, and keeping things organised.
Key responsibilities
Receive and check incoming deliveries against purchase orders and delivery documentation.
Check quantities, product condition, and identify any damaged or incorrect goods.
Unload and safely handle incoming stock and pallets.
Operate a forklift to unload, move, and put away goods.
Complete stock put-away and ensure products are stored in the correct locations.
Assist with stock control and maintain accurate inventory records.
Keep the warehouse and storage areas clean, organised, and safe.
Communicate with warehouse staff and other departments regarding incoming goods.
Always follow workplace health and safety procedures.
Assist with general warehouse duties as required.
About you
Previous experience in a warehouse, stores, or inwards goods position.
Experience receiving and checking deliveries.
Forklift experience and a current forklift licence.
Positive attention to detail and accuracy.
The ability to safely handle pallets and warehouse stock.
Good communication and teamwork skills.
