Trinity Stairs is seeking a skilled and reliable Staircase Installer & Joiner to join our growing team. This dual-role position involves the full cycle of staircase production—from joinery work in our Clayton South workshop to in office installation across Melbourne. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in both timber fabrication and installation, with a commitment to quality craftsmanship and attention to detail.
Key Responsibilities
In the Workshop (Joinery):
Fabricate and assemble timber staircase components according to detailed technical drawings.
Operate woodworking machinery, hand tools, and power tools with precision and care.
Perform quality control checks on components before dispatch.
On Site (Installation):
Install prefabricated staircases on residential and commercial sites.
Take accurate in office measurements and make adjustments as needed.
Collaborate with site managers and builders to ensure smooth installation processes.
Address site-specific challenges with practical solutions while maintaining high-quality finish.
General:
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work environment both in the workshop and on-site.
Follow all workplace health and safety (WHS) protocols and company procedures.
Represent Trinity Stairs professionally on every job.
Key Requirements
Proven experience in staircase joinery and/or installation.
Strong carpentry or cabinetmaking background with high attention to detail.
Ability to read and interpret architectural and workshop drawings.
Full driver’s license and own transport.
Construction White Card.
Own set of tools for both workshop and on-site work.
Own vehicle.
Self-motivated, punctual, and capable of working independently or in a team.
Desirable but Not Essential
Trade qualification in Joinery or Carpentry.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $40.00 – $65.00 per hour
Expected hours: No less than 40 per week
