Experienced Barista – Oltre (Prahran Market) | Morning Rush, High Standards

Oltre is a busy market café with a serious focus on quality, speed, and calm service. We’re hiring an experienced barista who can handle morning rush without losing consistency.

Previous experience in a similar role is a deal breaker — if you haven’t run coffee in a busy venue before, this won’t be the right fit.

The role

You’ll run the coffee section end-to-end during breakfast and peak trade:
Dial in espresso and keep the standard consistent all service
Quick, accurate workflow during morning rush (you don’t get buried)
Solid milk texture, clean pours, and consistent cup quality
Keep the coffee station spotless, organised, and stocked
Clear communication with FOH to keep service smooth and calm

Shifts: Morning-focused. Weekends required.

What we’re looking for (non-negotiable)
Proven barista experience in a busy venue (morning rush + volume)
Calm under pressure, fast hands, clean habits




Strong espresso knowledge + milk consistency all day
Punctual, reliable, professional communication
No ego, no drama — standards first
