The Role
The Events Officer will coordinate the delivery of events and event logistics, including:
Producing content for regular member events and annual conferences for the association sector
End to end organisation and event delivery for face to face and online events
Coordinating speaker requirements and following events schedule for event delivery
Writing copy for marketing and promotions
Maintaining and updating website content
Managing event run sheets and calendar management
Event logistics coordination including venue, catering, AV
Assisting with sponsorship and exhibition where required
Maintaining database records and general business administration

This role is suited to events graduate who would like to work in a diverse and engaging sector.

About the successful candidate:




An Australian citizen or permanent resident with no work restrictions
Have a Bachelor degree or higher
Is fluent in English
Have effective verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
Outgoing and commercially minded
Ability to establish priorities, manage time, adapt to change, and work collaboratively with others
Detail oriented with a focus on accuracy and quality
Is self-motivated and solution-focused
