Pathway Links Support Services is seeking compassionate and reliable Disability Support Workers to join our team in Supported Independent Living (SIL) homes. This is a casual position offering flexible schedule to suit your lifestyle.

Important: Availability for short shifts, passive and active overnight shifts is required as part of a rotating roster.

About the Role

As a Disability Support Worker, you will support participants with complex and multiple disabilities to live as independently as possible while enhancing their quality of life.

Key Responsibilities
Provide personal care (e.g. showering, dressing, grooming)
Deliver high-intensity supports in line with participant care plans
Assist with daily living tasks including meal preparation, cleaning, and errands
Support participants to attend appointments, social outings, and community activities
Encourage engagement in meaningful activities to promote wellbeing and independence
Maintain accurate documentation and progress notes
Work collaboratively with the broader support team to implement individualised support plans

Essential Requirements
Availability for passive sleepover and active overnight shifts
Demonstrated experience providing high-intensity supports, including PEG feeding, oral secretion management, bowel care,



and other complex health-related supports
Experience working within a SIL (Supported Independent Living) workplace
Certificate III in Individual Support (or equivalent), or currently working towards
Strong understanding of person-centred practice
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work both independently and within a team
A genuine passion for supporting people with disabilities
