Flexible Contract Opportunity

We're seeking an experienced Contract Manager to support the successful delivery of complex projects across infrastructure, engineering, resources, utilities, environmental, or industrial sectors.

This opportunity would suit a seasoned contracts or commercial skilled looking for a flexible engagement where they can add value through strong governance, contractor management, commercial oversight, and stakeholder engagement.

Key Responsibilities
Manage the administration and performance of contracts throughout the project lifecycle
Monitor contractor deliverables, schedules, costs, risks, and compliance obligations
Review and assess contract variations, claims, extensions of time, and commercial proposals
Maintain contract registers, risk registers, action trackers, and reporting systems
Review invoices and verify claims against approved works and contractual requirements
Facilitate communication between project teams, contractors, and stakeholders
Prepare regular project and contract performance reports
Identify and manage contractual, commercial, and delivery risks

About You

You will bring:
Demonstrated experience in contract management, commercial management, procurement, or project controls




Strong understanding of contract administration and contractor management
Experience managing variations, claims, scope changes, and commercial risks
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail
The ability to work autonomously while collaborating with multidisciplinary project teams

Highly Regarded
Experience in construction, infrastructure, mining, energy, utilities, environmental, or industrial projects
Exposure to government or highly regulated settings
Knowledge of procurement and contract governance frameworks
Experience managing multiple contractors and service providers
