Pame Transport is a growing transport and logistics company based in Archerfield, QLD. We are seeking a reliable and organised Full time Administration Officer to join our team.
This is an excellent opportunity for someone with previous administration experience and some experience in the transport or logistics industry who is looking to join a professional and growing company.
About the Role
The successful candidate will assist with the day-to-day administration of our transport operations and provide general support to management, drivers, customers and the wider team.
Key Responsibilities
General office and administrative duties
Answering phone calls and responding to emails
Data entry and maintaining accurate records
Preparing and organising transport documentation
Assisting with freight bookings and paperwork
Communicating with drivers, customers and suppliers
Filing and maintaining company records
Assisting with invoices and general office administration
Following up outstanding administrative tasks
Providing general support to management and the operations team
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Previous experience in an administration or office-based position
Preferably some experience in the transport, freight or logistics industry
Strong organisational and time-management skills
Excellent attention to detail
Good written and verbal communication skills
Positive computer skills and the ability to learn new systems
A professional, reliable and positive attitude
The ability to work independently and as part of a team
The ability to work in a fast-paced environment
