Job description:

Our valued Client, established in 2014, specialize in the installation of underground electrical and communication assets, along with providing cutting-edge solutions to their clients by offering a range of services, including non-destructive digging, drain cleaning, CCTV, and underground service locating. Their efficiency comes down to their planning, adaptability, and enthusiasm to grow and learn.

We are seeking a skilled Boilermaker to join our team in Seaford, Victoria. This is a ongoing casual position where you will be responsible for fabricating and welding high-quality pipework and other steel components for our customers in the manufacturing and engineering industries.

Working Hours:

· Monday- Friday

· 7:00am- 3:30pm

Payrate:

· $38-$45 per hour depending on experience

What you'll be doing:
Interpret engineering drawings and specifications to fabricate and assemble a wide range of steel components and pipework
Perform welding tasks using a variety of welding techniques and equipment including MIG, STT welding
Operate various metalworking machinery and tools such as angle grinders, band saws,
Carry out quality checks and inspections on completed work to ensure it meets required standards




Liaise with project managers and engineers to understand job requirements and deliver on schedule
Maintain a safe and clean work workplace, following all health and safety procedures

What we're looking for:
Proven experience as a welder or fabricator, ideally in the manufacturing or engineering sectors
Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade or equivalent qualification
Proficient in reading and interpreting engineering drawings and welding procedures
Skilled in MIG, STT welding techniques
Experience operating various metalworking machinery and tools
Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to work both independently and as part of a team
Robust problem-solving and communication skills

Pay: $38.00 – $45.00 per hour
