Innovative Early Learning Artarmon is looking for a skilled Educator to join our award winning and fun team!

We are seeking a passionate and experienced Preschool Room Leader to lead our preschool room team. This role is ideal for an enthusiastic educator who loves fostering creativity, curiosity, and confidence in children, while supporting and mentoring a team of educators.

As a Room Leader, you will:
Lead and manage the preschool room team, ensuring high-quality educational programs.
Develop and implement a play-based curriculum aligned with the EYLF (Early Years Learning Framework).
Monitor, assess, and report on each child’s learning and development.
Support and mentor diploma- and certificate-qualified educators.
Ensure compliance with National Quality Framework (NQF), policies, and procedures.
Communicate effectively with families, providing updates on children’s progress and wellbeing.

Requirements
Early Childhood Teacher (ECT) qualification with current NESA registration (essential).




Minimum 3 years’ experience in early childhood education, with at least 1 year in a leadership role.
Strong knowledge of EYLF and NQF compliance requirements.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Current First Aid, CPR, Asthma, and Anaphylaxis certificates.
Working with Children Check (WWCC) and police clearance (NSW).

Desirable
Experience mentoring junior educators.
Familiarity with digital learning portfolios and assessment tools. (OWNA PLATFORM)
Strong interpersonal skills to foster positive relationships with families and staff.

Job Types: Full-time, Part time, Permanent

Pay: $35.00 – $50.00 per hour
