ABOUT THE ROLE
Casual Positions available in West End
Providing responsive, exceptional service to deli concession customers by answering questions attentively, making recommendations, providing samples and responding to requests
Slicing, weighing, packaging and pricing deli meats with correct PLU’s
Updating and refreshing displays, cases and other customer facing areas to ensure a visually full offering and that current items and promotions are showcased
Accurately recording daily wastage
Complete deli concession opening and closing procedures, paying close attention to sanitation
Ensuring that work areas are ready to service customers by cleaning and sanitizing surfaces, equipment and floors, rubbish removal and inspecting equipment for positive working order
Following all food safety and sanitation procedures established by the company and other regulatory agencies
Maintain the work area and equipment throughout the working day in a hygienic and safe condition,



so as to avoid cross contamination of raw food stuffs with ready to eat food stuffs and nut products
Exceed expectations of customers every time by providing responsive, exceptional service by answering questions, making recommendations, providing samples and responding to requests.

ABOUT YOU
excellent customer service, communication and courteous disposition with an effective approach to handling customer requests, questions and complaints
ability to understand and follow all company procedures and regulations regarding food handling and sanitation
a high standard of personal cleanliness and hygiene
ability to lift heavy items such as meat cartons, equipment
ability to work in a team environment, as well as ability to work independently
commitment to work health and safety standards

Pay: $35.56 – $49.79 per hour
