We are looking for a Casual Function & Event Supervisor at the Strathfield Golf Club. This opportunity is ideal for individuals who are passionate about managing great customer experiences in functions, events & bistro dining. A solid background in hospitality supervision is essential.

If you’re an experienced function waiter ready to step up your career or a Function Supervisor looking for more hours, this role offers a fantastic chance to grow and take on more responsibility in a dynamic and supportive environment.

The Role
Casual position with adaptable working hours between Monday - Sunday (mainly daytime shifts)
Lead and manage events across multiple spaces
Oversee all service aspects from setup to service to pack down
Supervise a team of skilled waitstaff and bartenders
Act as the primary client liaison throughout the event
Collaborate closely with the culinary team to ensure seamless service
Maintain high standards of communication and professionalism

What we're Looking For
6–12 months previous experience as a Head Waiter or Venue Supervisor
Must have previous function experience
Strong interpersonal and leadership skills
Exceptional attention to detail and a can-do attitude
Passion for creating memorable event experiences

You’ll also bring:
Strong knowledge and enthusiasm for food and beverage
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid RSA certification
