Our client is a market-leading engineering and power generation business offering turnkey solutions. This business is renowned for delivering high-quality products through operational project delivery excellence. They are currently seeking an experienced Senior Project Manager to oversee and drive the execution of a major project (50m+) on a new industry leading infrastructure investment in Melbourne. This role is pivotal in ensuring the program and projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to the agreed scope and specifications.
The Role
Reporting directly to the Executive GM you will be responsible for:
Leading the planning and execution of a large-scale capital project from concept through to completion while managing the interdependencies with the customer and a variety of other engineering and contracting groups as part of a $400m+ project.
Managing multidisciplinary project teams to ensure seamless delivery of a major aspect of the project.
Ensuring project delivery aligns with internal systems, processes, and quality standards.
Manage and oversee the project schedule,
plan and manage all of the project variations to maintain margin.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will have:
A degree qualification Engineering or related, ideally with a formal project management qualification.
At least 10 years' experience in project management within large scale infrastructure programs.
Experience leading projects $50m+ ideally in a consulting/engineering capacity.
Robust leadership, stakeholder management, and influencing skills.
A deep understanding of project management methodologies and reporting frameworks.
Familiarity with VIC safety compliance and permit-to-work systems.
