Job Description

Agricultural and Horticultural Mobile Plant Operator At The Trustee for CANDELORO FARM TRUST, we are looking for a skilled Agricultural and Horticultural Mobile Plant Operator to work on a full time basis (at least 38 hours per week). Duties and Responsibilities:
Operate tractors, harvesters, loaders, forklifts, and other agricultural and horticultural mobile plant to support farm operations.
Operate tractors and attached implements to plough, cultivate, prepare, and maintain soil and growing areas.
Operate agricultural machinery for planting, sowing, fertilising, spraying, cultivating, and maintaining crops.
Operate harvesting machinery and equipment to harvest, collect, and handle agricultural and horticultural produce.
Select, attach, adjust, and operate appropriate implements and attachments according to the agricultural task being undertaken.
Conduct routine inspections and basic maintenance of mobile plant, including checking fuel, oil, tyres, hydraulics, brakes,



and other operating components.
Identify and report mechanical faults, equipment damage, safety hazards, and maintenance requirements to the supervisor.
Operate mobile plant safely and efficiently in accordance with manufacturer instructions, workplace procedures, safety requirements, and relevant regulations.

Requirements
Relevant qualification or at least 1 year of relevant experience in lieu of the qualification.
At least 1 year of relevant experience.
Demonstrated ability to safely operate tractors, loaders, forklifts, and other agricultural machinery.
Valuable understanding of secure machinery operation, workplace health and safety procedures, and relevant workplace requirements.
