Position Purpose:
As an All-Rounder at Lukumades Canberra, you’ll work across all areas of the store, including customer service, coffee and beverage making, preparing our signature desserts, and maintaining a clean and welcoming environment. We’re looking for someone who is energetic, reliable and enjoys working in a fast-paced team.
Key Responsibilities:
Customer Service: Provide friendly and efficient service, take orders accurately and create a positive experience for every customer.
Beverages & Coffee Making: Prepare quality coffee and cold beverages while maintaining a clean and organised beverage station.
Dessert Preparation: Prepare, cook and present our signature Lukumades desserts to our quality and presentation standards.
Cleaning & Maintenance: Keep all workstations, equipment and customer areas clean, organised and compliant with food safety standards.
Team Collaboration: Work closely with the team to ensure smooth and efficient store operations.
Cash Handling: Process orders and payments accurately using the POS system.
Stock & Inventory: Restock products and supplies and notify management when stock is running low.
Essential Knowledge and Experience:
Barista Experience: Previous coffee-making/barista experience is required.
Customer Service: Friendly, confident and professional with strong communication skills.
Fast-Paced Environment: Able to multitask, stay organised and work efficiently during busy periods.
Reliability: Punctual, dependable and willing to take initiative.
Attention to Detail: Maintain high standards of product quality, presentation and cleanliness.
Flexibility: Available to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends and public holidays, Christmas and New years period.
Team Player: Positive attitude, willingness to learn and ability to work well with others.
