Workthreads Embroidery and Workwear based in Welshpool are seeking an Embroidery Machine Operator.

Casual (20-38 hours per week).
Monday – Friday with the option of some evening or weekend work as required.
On-site parking. ** Must have own reliable transport as this site is not easily accessible via public transport.
Personal Requirements -
Must be an Australian Resident.
Must have English language / writing literacy as the job requires reading and typing with accuracy to spelling. (IELTS Certificate preferred if applicant emigrated from non-English speaking country).
Must have great attention to detail.
Positive attitude and a willingness to learn.
Be able to work unsupervised once training on a task is provided.
Must have great time management skills and be deadline focused in a fast paced production environment.
Good computer skills and be willing to learn basic embroidery soft wear.
Willing to Learn as training is provided in all aspects of day to day production operation.
Must be able to work as part of a team and have good English communication skills and strong work ethic.
Must be able to multi-task maximizing productivity and efficiency levels for the business.
The successful applicant will need to have a flexible approach to daily tasks as scheduled job priorities may change during the day.
Experience in operating multi head embroidery machine is not essential, team attitude and willingness to learn is the key factor we are seeking.
Training in all aspects of role will be provided to the successful applicant.
This is a physically demanding job, you would be on your feet all day.
You will be kept physically and mentally busy with new challenges every day whilst working in a small team environment.
You will be required to work under limited and at times no supervision once training on a task is provided.

Lifting and Moving Cartons.
Unpacking Garments ready for embroidery.
Operation of embroidery machines.
Folding and Re-Packing Garments once embroidered.
Basic maintenance and upkeep of machines.
Keeping production area clean and tidy.
