Hotel Marvell is seeking a Guest Service Agent to join our team in a dynamic, multi-skilled role combining Front Office and Food & Beverage service .

About the role

As a Guest Service Agent, you will be responsible for delivering seamless guest experiences across both front desk operations and hands-on service .

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys variety, thrives in a fast-paced environment, and takes pride in delivering premium hospitality.

Key responsibilities
Provide a warm, professional welcome and manage guest check-in and check-out
Handle guest enquiries, requests and issues with efficiency and care
Process payments and manage POS/PMS systems accurately
Maintain strong knowledge of hotel services and local Byron Bay recommendations
Deliver Food & Beverage service, including:
Table service in hotel dining and guest areas
Coffee preparation and service (barista experience highly regarded)
Alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverage service




Food and drink delivery with attention to detail and presentation
Work closely with all departments to ensure a seamless guest experience
Maintain presentation standards across lobby and public areas

About you
Previous experience in hospitality, guest services, or a customer-facing role
Confident communicator with robust interpersonal skills
A proactive, solutions-focused approach to guest service
Ability to multitask and remain calm under pressure
Experience in Food & Beverage service (table service required)
Barista experience highly regarded
Current RSA (Responsible Service of Alcohol) — essential
Experience with hotel systems (Opera Cloud highly regarded)
Versatile availability including weekends and evenings
Valid Australian working rights
