The Role
Preparing financial statements, financial reports and tax returns
Managing accounting and tax compliance requirements for a diverse client portfolio
Providing technical and non-technical advice to clients
Developing and maintaining strong client relationships
Building effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
Mentoring and developing junior accountants
Working independently while contributing effectively within a collaborative team
Supporting clients with practical, commercially focused accounting advice
About You
An accounting-related degree
3+ years of professional public practice accounting experience for Senior Accountant level
7+ years of relevant experience for Manager level
CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
Strong understanding of accounting and taxation principles
Proven experience preparing financial statements and tax returns
Strong client-facing and advisory capabilities
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Ability to manage responsibilities independently while working effectively within a team
Strong relationship-building and stakeholder management skills
A proactive and professional approach to client service
Experience
Experience with Xero
Experience with FYI
Existing experience working with clients in the Geelong region
