We have two office locations, one in Newcastle and another in East Maitland; we are seeking two trainee accountants in both offices.
About The Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and ambitious individual to join our team as a Trainee Accountant. In this role, you will have the prospect to learn and grow with our experienced team of accountants while providing support to our clients. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone looking to start a career in accounting and gain valuable experience.
Key Responsibilities
Assisting with data entry and bookkeeping tasks
Preparing financial statements and reports
Providing support to our team of accountants
Learning and understanding tax laws and regulations
Communicating with clients and other stakeholders
Qualifications & Skills
Completed or undertaking a degree in accounting or a related field
Robust attention to detail and problem-solving skills
Excellent verbal and written communication skills
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
Strong organizational and time management skills
Willingness to learn and take on new challenges
Experience with accounting software (such as Xero, MYOB) is a plus
