Maxwell Recruitment is seeking an experienced Electrical Trade Assistant to join a reputable engineering workshop based in Cardiff. This is an excellent opportunity to secure ongoing work with a business that manufactures specialised industrial equipment.

Enjoy a Monday to Thursday roster (6:00am – 4:00pm), giving you a 3-day weekend every week, with some overtime available on Fridays.

About the role

Working as part of a skilled workshop team, you'll assist with the assembly of specialised industrial equipment.

Duties include:
Assisting with pipework and tube work
Using hand and power tools




Supporting tradespeople with workshop assembly
General workshop duties
Maintaining a clean and safe work environment

To be successful you will have:
Previous experience as a Trade Assistant or within a manufacturing/workshop environment
Experience using hand and power tools
Positive mechanical aptitude
Current driver's licence and reliable transport
A robust work ethic and willingness to learn

Desirable:
Experience assisting with pipework or tube work
Forklift Licence
Overhead Crane experience
