The South East Regional Centre for Urban Landcare (SERCUL) is looking for people like you to join its board. There will be four board vacancies for 2026-27.
The board meets monthly for two hours to monitor and determine:
the implementation of SERCUL’s strategic directions; and
policy, procedural and high-level management issues.
There are no sitting fees.
SERCUL has been providing environmental services to the southern region of Perth and beyond for 23 years through landcare and restoration, education, support of community setting groups, monitoring and research. It raises about 60 per cent of its income by providing contract environmental and education services and receives the remainder from grant funding and partnerships with State, Commonwealth and local governments.
SERCUL’s 50-plus staff can be found working on projects from Mandurah to Stirling and from Fremantle to Kalamunda.
Board meetings are held at SERCUL’s headquarters on an historic property at Horley Road, Beckenham which has been restored to become a heritage and environmental showpiece.
