About the Role
Working closely with the Head Chef to deliver an elevated food offering focusing on fresh local seafood, woodfired pizza, as well as pub classics, we require a highly experienced, calm organiser with exceptional communication skills. You will lead, support and inspire your team to become the food destination of choice in the area, and the workplace of choice for our local Chef talent.
With the roll out of two additional current menus in the near future, there is plenty to sink your teeth into.
Responsibilities
Assist the Head Chef to oversee the entire kitchen operations including but not limited to menu development, cost & stock controls, team culture and development, rostering and wage control, strict adherence to all Food Safety & WHS requirements, presentation, collaboration with the functions team, and delivering excellence in food standards. You will generally be present and hands on in peak periods to ensure these standards are met.
