Be part of Australia's largest celebration of the gift of life. The Australian Transplant Games are a week-long multi-sport event bringing together transplant recipients, donor families, living donors, and the medical community — and a major event like this simply isn't possible without a passionate volunteer team.
Volunteers help bring the Games to life across a huge range of roles — from Sport Coordinators and Medal Ceremony support, to Registration Assistants, Content Creators, Transport Marshals, Course Marshals and more. There's also a range of behind-the-scenes roles for those short on time on the day, including registration support, virtual coaching and local ambassador roles. Shifts run 3–9 hours,
and all volunteers receive an ATG26 t-shirt and hat, registration pack and accreditation, meals on longer shifts, and a free breakfast at the Volunteer Thank You BBQ.
No previous volunteering experience is required — just a friendly, positive attitude and a willingness to help. Volunteers must be 16 or over at the time of the Games and hold a valid Working with Children Check.
