Camp Leaders, Volunteers and other team members usually arrive on site at around 4pm (or a bit later) on the Friday afternoon and stay two nights in office at the campground, departing around 2pm on Sunday afternoon.
During the weekend students may assist with:
*Welcoming young people and helping them settle in
*Assisting with mealtimes
*Assisting staff with the preparation and delivery of activities
*Assisting with settling young people at night – making sure everyone goes to sleep!
*Having fun alongside young people with outdoor and indoor activities (e.g. kayaking, rope climbing, arts and craft)
*Supporting participants with their individual needs where appropriate
*Working collaboratively with staff and other placement students
