Hours:
Different shifts available, adaptable across 7 days a week.
3pm to 8pm

What you’ll do:
Assisting the chef in the preparation and cooking of food, as required (Sandwiches, salads etc.)
Washing and cleaning of all cutlery, crockery, kitchen utensils and glassware.
Ensuring all food areas are clean and sanitary
Assist in secure removal of rubbish and recycling of both wet and dry kitchen waste
Assist in the safe transportation of trollies and other equipment around the kitchen and service areas
Handling, sorting and distributing food items in school canteen setting
Other kitchen duties as required and requested
Turning over tables and resetting for the next day
About You:
A passion for great food!
Experience working as a Kitchen Hand is essential
Possess a Food Handling Certificate
Capacity to work as part of a team with excellent communication skills
Ability to follow directions and safety requirements
Ability to multitask, prioritise and manage time effectively
