On Track Recruitment Solutions are seeking an experienced Fleet Manager to join a leading rail maintenance operation. Reporting to the General Manager, you will oversee rollingstock maintenance activities, ensuring fleet availability, reliability and safety while leading a high-performing maintenance team.

This is an excellent chance for an experienced leader with a background in rail, transport, heavy industry or other asset-intensive environments who is passionate about driving operational performance, continuous improvement and a strong safety culture.
The role is initially based at Nowergup, relocating to the current Bellevue facility in early 2027.

Key Responsibilities
/n

Lead and manage rollingstock maintenance operations to maximise fleet availability and reliability.
/n
Oversee planned, preventative and reactive maintenance activities.
/n
Drive compliance with safety, quality and maintenance standards.
/n
Lead, mentor and develop supervisors and maintenance personnel.
/n
Collaborate with engineering, planning and operations teams to optimise fleet performance.
/n
Monitor operational performance, budgets and KPIs.
/n
Build solid relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
/n
Promote continuous improvement and a Zero Harm safety culture.
/n/n
About You
/n
/n
Previous experience as a Fleet Manager, Maintenance Manager or similar leadership role.
/n
Background in rail, transport, heavy industry, manufacturing or other asset-intensive environments.
/n
Solid leadership, communication and stakeholder management skills.
/n
Experience managing operational performance, budgets and KPIs.
/n
Excellent planning, organisational and problem-solving abilities.
/n
Trade qualification or engineering background highly regarded.
/n
Understanding of Rail Safety legislation is desirable.
