Experienced Aged Care Cook Required for Residential Aged Care & Hotel Services

/n

This is a Permanent Part Time Position working as a cook in a up-to-date and well equipped 94 bed Residential Aged Care Home situated in Wellington Point, QLD.

/n

Aged Care cooking experience preferred as the role will require you to be a kitchen all-rounder. Including preparation of texture modified foods and alternative diets and function work.

/n

You must possess the skills of a Cook be available for afternoon shifts and have the flexibility to cover other positions as required to cover leave.

/n

The facility operates a dietician approved 4 week rotational menu which is changed seasonally. All food is prepared from scratch at our onsite kitchen. It is essential you have experience in a fast-paced kitchen and have a vast cooking knowledge and a positive attitude for working with the elderly.

/n

Candidates must have a current police check, possess excellent communication skills,



be physically fit and are passionate about the food they are creating for our Residents.

/n

Must be available over weekends and public holidays.

/n

This position reports to the Head of Hotel Services on site.

/n

Immediate start available to the right candidate.

/n

Must have a current national police certificate/NDIS check or be willing to complete a criminal history check

/n

Must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident.
