About the Role
/n
Macadamias Direct is seeking experienced machinery operators to join a rapid-growing macadamia industry within our Bundaberg orchards.
/n
The successful candidates must possess the skills necessary to carry out tasks relating to macadamia farm operations, while having a high level of farm machinery and equipment maintenance skills and experience.
/n
Key Responsibilities:
/n
/n
Activities on a day-to-day basis, including weed control, irrigation, spraying and harvesting.
/n
Machinery maintenance to ensure the orchard is running efficiently.
/n
Operate machinery, tractors and implements in line with recommended guidelines to ensure that both tractors and implements operate efficiently, cleanly, and safely.
/n
Apply all chemicals and fertilisers in accordance with legislation and instructions given.
/n
Ensure machinery is kept in a clean, tidy and safe working condition and is presented to the workshop in a condition suitable for servicing as determined by the Maintenance Department.

Willingness to perform a wide range of duties and ability to work outside ordinary hours when required.

What We Are Looking For:
/n
/n
Tractor/machine operating experience.
/n
Current Manual Australian Drivers Licence is required.
/n
Ag Chemical Licence is not essential but would be beneficial.
/n
Capability to perform physically demanding tasks in outdoor settings
