Medical Receptionist Specialist Practice

Toowoomba Cardiac Centre is currently seeking a full time (38 hour week) Medical Receptionist for our busy specialist practice within St Vincent's Hospital, Toowoomba. Toowoomba Cardiac Centre provides comprehensive and compassionate care to improve the experience and outcomes for patients.

As a team, we provide exceptional service to our patients with a caring nature and professionalism at all times.

Duties include:

Providing first line contact with patients in a friendly and courteous manner

/n
Attending to general enquiries from patients and surgeries

/n
Preparing and running our Clinics

/n
Preparing admission paperwork, quotes, theatre lists

/n
Liaising with Hospitals, Anaesthetists, Medicare & other health providers

/n
Data entry and scanning of medical documents

/n




Proof reading of letter correspondence back to referring Doctors

/n/n

Ideal candidate skills and attributes.

Professionalism and confidentiality

Excellent patient service and communication skills

/n
A skilled appearance and exceptional spoken and written English

/n
A team player who is always happy to help their colleagues

Knowledge of health fund billing, Medicare & DVA

/n
Punctuality and being versatile with hours (when needed)

Being able to prioritise, being highly organised and thinking one step ahead
