Our client, Australia's leed seed provider are seeking an experienced Maintenance Fitter for their site located in Toowoomba.

Monday to Friday Roster

/n
8am to 5pm

/n
$50 per hour

/n
No on call requirments

/n
Casual on-going work with full time hours

/n
View to a perment position

/n
Supportive, friendly and down to earth environment

About the Duties:

/n

/n
Perform scheduled, preventative and reactive maintenance on seed processing and packaging equipment.

/n
Diagnose mechanical faults and complete breakdown repairs

/n
Maintain and repair conveyors, bearings, motors, pumps, gearboxes, rollers and other plant machinery.

/n
Inspect equipment and identify worn, damaged or unsafe components requiring repair or replacement.

/n
Carry out fitting, fabrication, welding and minor equipment modifications as required.

/n
Install, align and commission replacement parts,



machinery and mechanical components.

/n
Assist with planned shutdowns, major servicing and plant improvement projects.

/n
Maintain accurate records of maintenance work, inspections, parts used and completed repairs.

About You:

/n

/n
Trade qualification as a Mechanical Fitter, Fitter and Turner, or equivalent

/n
Previous maintenance experience within manufacturing, agriculture, food production or a similar industrial workplace

/n
Robust experience diagnosing mechanical faults and completing breakdown repairs

/n
Experience maintaining conveyors, bearings, pumps, gearboxes, motors and production machinery

/n
Sound knowledge of preventative maintenance and planned servicing procedures

/n
Welding, fabrication and equipment modification experience.
