This role suits a technician who enjoys problem-solving, working with advanced electronics, and supporting other technicians to resolve complex faults.
You will work across a wide range of systems includingADAS, body control modules, vehicle networks, and software-driven platforms, while gaining exposure to OEM-level diagnostics, factory systems, and new model launches.
This isnot a customer call-centre or IT support role.
It is a hands‐on technical position supporting dealership technicians in a growing OEM environment.

What you'll be doing
Provide technical support to dealer technicians on diagnostics and repair procedures
Assist with fault diagnosis across systems includingADAS, body control modules (BCM),



powertrain, chassis, and infotainment
Use OEM diagnostic tools and software to analyse faults, read live data, and guide repairs
Support electrical diagnosis includingCAN / LIN communication, sensors, actuators, and control modules
Escalate complex technical cases to senior technical and factory teams where required
Support technical readiness for recent model launches and technical updates
Assist with technical training and technical guidance to dealer technicians
Maintain accurate technical case records, notes, and reports
Identify recurring technical issues and provide feedback to improve product quality
What we're looking for
Qualified automotive mechanic or auto electrician (or equivalent experience)
Dealership experience diagnosing and repairing modern vehicles
Strong interest and aptitude for diagnostics and electrical fault finding
Working knowledge of modern vehicle systems, including:
ADAS (radar, cameras, calibration)
Body control modules (BCM)
CAN / LIN vehicle networks
Infotainment and software updates
Sensors, actuators, and control units
Comfortable using diagnostic tools, wiring diagrams, and technical documentation
Clear communicator able to explain technical concepts logically
Well organised, detail-focused, and comfortable managing multiple cases
Holds (or is eligible to hold) a valid automotive repairer's licence
Willing to travel occasionally for dealer support or training
