Your impact
Reporting to the Electrical Maintenance Supervisor,



you will be responsible for delivering high‐quality electrical servicing and maintenance across the Process Maintenance Department, including the Process Plant (Crushing and Milling).
This role is critical in ensuring the safe, reliable and efficient operation of electrical, electronic and instrumentation systems.
You will play a key part in minimising plant downtime, supporting production targets, and maintaining compliance with safety and operational standards.
As part of our team you will
Ensure all electrical maintenance activities are completed safely and in line with established safe work procedures and systems
Identify labour, tools, and materials required to complete electrical maintenance work efficiently
Execute planned electrical maintenance to support plant reliability and performance
Respond to unplanned and breakdown maintenance to minimise operational impact
Assist with supervision of contractors to ensure work is completed safely, efficiently and to required standards
Undertake relief duties for site electrical supervisors when required
Contribute to site safety initiatives, systems and continuous improvement programs
Support ongoing improvements to processes and work practices within your area of responsibility
Prerequisites for your success in the role
Mandatory
Electrical Trade Qualification
Current Western Australian Electrical Workers Licence
Nationally recognised High Voltage Switching Certificate




Current C Class Western Australian Driver's Licence
Demonstrated experience in electrical, electronic and instrumentation maintenance within a processing or treatment plant environment (gold plant experience highly regarded)
Current First Aid Certificate
Desirable
Minimum three years post‐trade experience
Your work environment
This is a full‐time, permanent opportunity based at Newmont's Boddington Gold Mine in Western Australia.
This is a site‐based role operating on a rotating 8 days on / 6 days off, 7 nights on / 7 nights off roster, supporting the Process Plant, including the Crushing and Milling circuits.
The role is Drive‐in, Drive‐out (DIDO), with village accommodation provided.
You will be part of a collaborative, safety‐focused maintenance team within one of Australia's largest and most complex gold operations.
