seeking a motivated Civil Maintenance Supervisor (Drainage) to lead the
delivery of proactive and reactive maintenance programs across the City's
drainage network and civil infrastructure.

About this Opportunity
Reporting to the Coordinator Civil Maintenance, you
will lead City crews and contractors in the delivery of drainage maintenance,
minor civil works and infrastructure improvements.
You will be responsible for
planning work programs, coordinating resources and ensuring works are delivered
safely, efficiently and within budget.
Key responsibilities include:
Leading reactive and programmed drainage maintenance
works
Supervising staff, contractors and day-to-day field
operations
Planning, scheduling and coordinating maintenance
activities
Managing procurement, quotations and contractor
performance
Monitoring budgets and ensuring projects are delivered
on time
Maintaining a strong focus on safety, quality and
customer service
Supporting continuous improvement across maintenance
operations
About You
You are a proactive leader who enjoys working in a
practical environment and delivering quality outcomes through effective
planning, communication and teamwork.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
Experience supervising civil maintenance or
infrastructure maintenance teams
Demonstrated experience in contractor and contract
management
Sound knowledge of drainage maintenance, civil
infrastructure and maintenance practices
Experience in work planning, budgeting and project
coordination
Strong communication, leadership and problem-solving
skills
Commitment to workplace safety and continuous
improvement
Selection
Criteria
Experience in procurement, contract management and tendering process.
Demonstrate experience in maintenance works and ability to prioritise
work.
Experience in interpretation of drawings, project estimation, budgeting,
and budget monitoring.
Sound knowledge of obtaining permits and liaising with various
stakeholders.
Intermediate skills in MS Office Suite and various accounts and
recording keeping software programs.
Knowledge and awareness of environmental issues associated with Civil
Maintenance activities.
Knowledge and awareness of WHS rules and regulations, including a sound
knowledge of protected working practices.
Highly developed analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability
to exercise good judgement and initiative when required.
Ability to use personal computer applications and in particular the
Microsoft Office suite of products.

Hours of Work
This is a permanent full-time
position working Monday to Friday, 75 hours per fortnight.
Flexible work
options are available, including a 9-day fortnight or flexitime.
About the Benefits
The
salary range for this position is $93,063 - $100,087 per annum (depending on
qualifications and experience) plus superannuation.
Other inclusions are Overtime,
annual increments, annual salary increases, a generous superannuation
co-contribution scheme and 22 days annual leave which attracts 17.5% loading.
We also offer flexible work arrangements or the option for a rostered day off
fortnightly or monthly.
